Ravens Acquire Former Browns Center Ethan Pocic
The Ravens are signing former Browns center Ethan Pocic to bolster their roster as they search for a replacement for Tyler Linderbaum. Pocic, 30, recently cleared from a torn Achilles, brings valuable experience with 97 starts in nine seasons. He replaces a less seasoned competition in Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn, and Corey Bullock, with only Pinter having prior NFL starts. Pocic’s contract is worth $3 million, plus up to $1.5 million in incentives. The Ravens had previously shown interest in Pocic, and he is expected to participate fully in training camp, pending his acclimation to a new offense.
