Cowboys Elevate Two Team Members in Analytics Department
The Cowboys have expanded their analytics department by hiring Nick Fullerton and Vincent Etherton as strategic football fellows, akin to summer interns. They also promoted Piper Hampsch to strategic football analyst and Shane Hauck to data scientist. Both Hampsch and Hauck originally joined as fellows, marking their success within the growing department. Hampsch, a Duke graduate, and Hauck, from Carnegie Mellon, both have strong backgrounds in data science and sports. Their promotions follow the departure of Bryant Davis, who left for a role with the Miami Marlins. The Cowboys continue to build a robust analytics team under head analyst John Park.
