Former NFL defensive lineman Josh Mauro, 35, died on April 23 from accidental intoxication involving fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol, as reported by the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner. Mauro, who stood 6’6″ and weighed 290 pounds, played eight seasons in the NFL—six with the Arizona Cardinals, and one each with the New York Giants and Oakland Raiders.
