Timing of Season Opener Could Favor Cowboys Against Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers underwent a second knee procedure this offseason to remove scar tissue following a torn ACL last September. While the surgery was deemed a “cleanup,” the Giants are optimistic he will be ready for their season opener on September 13 against the Dallas Cowboys. In February, Nabers mentioned that he also underwent a full meniscus repair, which can complicate recovery, but he indicated his recovery was progressing well.
