Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase is close to joining a small club of pass-catchers who have achieved 1,000 or more receiving yards in each of their first five seasons. If Chase reaches 1,000 yards this season, he will become the fifth player in NFL history to do so. The others in this exclusive club are Justin Jefferson, Mike Evans, A.J. Green, and Randy Moss. Several talented receivers, including Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jaxson Smith-Njigba, and Puka Nacua, have fallen short of reaching this milestone in their rookie or early seasons.
