Report: 49ers Opt to Void Brandon Aiyuk’s Contract Guarantees for 2026 Season
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk may have played his last game with the team due to unresolved contract issues stemming from a knee injury. The team voided his guaranteed money for the 2026 season during training camp for not meeting contract requirements. Aiyuk, who has been out with a knee injury since October 2024, tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus last season. The team had initially hoped he would return midseason but that timeline is uncertain.
