Tom Brady Rejects 49ers, Says ‘You Picked a Goat Farmer Over Me’
Tom Brady still harbors resentment towards the San Francisco 49ers for passing him over in the 2000 NFL Draft, selecting Giovanni Carmazzi instead. Despite having a chance to sign Brady when he became a free agent in 2020, the 49ers stuck with Jimmy Garoppolo. Brady later turned down an offer from the 49ers in 2023.
