Jaguars wide receiver Thomas will not play against the Texans due to an ankle injury.
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. will miss the upcoming game against the Texans due to an ankle injury, leaving the team without their top two receivers. In addition to Thomas, Travis Hunter is on Injured Reserve with a knee injury, and Dyami Brown is still in concussion protocol. The team recently traded for Jakobi Meyers to help fill the gap. Coach Liam Coen emphasized the need for other receivers to step up and make plays in Thomas’ absence. Several other players, including cornerback Jourdan Lewis, left guard Ezra Cleveland, and tight end Hunter Long, are also unlikely to play due to injuries.
