Panthers’ Dowdle receives fine for ‘brief celebration’

Dowdle, inspired by a “Key & Peele” sketch, announced he will donate the fine money to Children’s Home Society of North Carolina via a GoFundMe. Actor Keegan-Michael Key, creator of the sketch, defended Dowdle for only doing two pumps. Despite the penalty, Dowdle’s teammates were not fined. Dowdle missed practice due to a quad injury unrelated to the celebration, but is expected to play against the New Orleans Saints.
