Fields disregards Jets owner’s critique of his performance
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields is facing criticism from team owner Woody Johnson for the team’s poor performance. Fields, however, is not seeking a conversation with Johnson to clear the air, as he doesn’t believe it will improve his performance or confidence. Despite the criticism, Fields remains focused on improving and not letting outside opinions affect him. The quarterback is also not considering a trade request and is solely focused on the upcoming game. Coach Aaron Glenn has not named a starter for the next game, but all signs point to Tyrod Taylor replacing Fields due to his struggles.
