Buccaneers’ Loss to Lions Marred by Mike Evans’ Broken Clavicle
Mike Evans returned to action for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but suffered a devastating injury, breaking his clavicle and also getting a concussion during the game. It is unknown if he will miss the rest of the season, but he will be sidelined for multiple weeks. This injury will also end his streak of 1,000-yard seasons for 11 consecutive years, making him the only player in NFL history to achieve this. Evans landed hard on his shoulder and head while attempting a catch, and had to be helped off the field. If he misses the rest of the season, he will finish with 14 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown in four games.
