Zoe Rosenberg testifies she ‘rescued’ chickens, not committed crimes, in Petaluma Poultry case

Zoe Rosenberg gives testimony claiming she saved chickens, not broke laws, in Petaluma Poultry case

Animal activist Zoe Rosenberg testified in her own defense in Sonoma County Superior Court, denying claims of being involved in a criminal conspiracy to break into Petaluma Poultry. She stated she rescued four chickens out of concern for animal cruelty and joined the investigation after others had already entered the property. Rosenberg denied tampering with computers or placing GPS trackers, stating she was only involved in removing the chickens. The trial, which began on Oct. 6, has witnessed testimony from witnesses describing their investigations. Prosecutors allege Rosenberg entered the facility multiple times, but she maintains she acted independently in the rescue. Testimony is set to continue on Monday.
