Jets eliminate Jermaine Johnson and Josh Reynolds as possibilities
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn ruled out several players for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers, including quarterback Justin Fields. Edge rusher Jermaine Johnson will not play due to an ankle injury. Other players ruled out include wide receiver Josh Reynolds with a hamstring injury, defensive tackle Jay Tufele with an illness, and kick returner Kene Nwangwu with a hamstring injury. Johnson, who tore his Achilles earlier in the season, will be replaced by Will McDonald, Micheal Clemons, Tyler Baron, and Braiden McGregor on the edge. These absences will impact the team’s lineup and strategy for the upcoming game.
