JJ McCarthy leads Vikings to thrilling comeback victory against Bears in NFL debut

JJ McCarthy led the Minnesota Vikings to a come-from-behind 27-24 win over the Chicago Bears in his NFL debut. After struggling in the first three quarters, McCarthy threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes and ran for another to secure the victory. Chicago’s Caleb Williams also had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown in his first game under new coach Ben Johnson. After trailing 17-6, McCarthy’s late heroics, including a 74-yard interception return for a touchdown, sealed the win for the Vikings. McCarthy finished with 143 passing yards, while Williams threw for 210 yards and rushed for a touchdown. The Vikings have now won eight of the last nine games against the Bears.
