Steelers’ Harmon feared knee injury was severe
Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Derrick Harmon suffered an MCL sprain during the preseason finale, initially fearing a serious injury. He is now focused on rehab to return to the field. Coach Mike Tomlin stated he is “week-to-week,” with the injury possibly taking several weeks to heal. Harmon does not need surgery and is frustrated by the timing of the injury after a strong training camp. Despite his disappointment, he remains mentally focused and supported by teammates who encouraged him to stay positive. Harmon is determined to attack his rehab and return to compete at a high level in the regular season.
