Report: Bullet Fired at Chiefs Stadium Narrowly Misses Coach Andy Reid by 15 Feet
Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid was working alone in his office at the team’s practice facility when a bullet was fired into the building last spring, according to the Kansas City Star. The bullet broke through glass and landed 15ft away from where Reid was sitting. The Chiefs installed bulletproof glass shortly after the incident. Two more bullets hit the facility, prompting an investigation by the police. No arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed. Reid, who has led the Chiefs to three Super Bowl titles, will address the incident after the team’s final preseason game.
