Engram played while Broncos rested starters in preseason game
Broncos and Cardinals coaches agreed not to play their starters in a recent game, but Broncos tight end Evan Engram was the exception. Despite the agreement, Broncos coach Sean Payton decided to give Engram some playing time due to injuries in the tight end position group. Engram caught a 58-yard pass from backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham during the game.
