Trevon Diggs anticipates being back on the field in September.
Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs underwent chondral bone graft surgery on his left knee, putting his 2025 season in doubt. Despite the setback, Diggs is ahead of schedule in his rehab and hopes to return to the field in September. He will not need to be placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Diggs credits his rehab team in South Florida for helping him recover quicker than expected. The two-time Pro Bowler tore his ACL in the same knee in 2023. He may not make it back for the season opener against the Eagles on Sept. 4, but he remains optimistic about his return.
