Raiders’ Christian Wilkins Placed on PUP List Due to Foot Injury Setback
Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins of the Las Vegas Raiders has been placed on the physically unable to perform list due to a setback in his recovery from a broken foot. This will cause him to miss the beginning of training camp. Wilkins, the team’s marquee free-agent signing last year, had a career-high nine sacks the previous season. However, injuries have plagued him and two other linemen on the team. Despite working hard on his recovery, he is not yet ready to return to the field. The Raiders can activate him once he is medically cleared.
