Chiefs player Rashee Rice sentenced to jail, facing possible suspension
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation for his involvement in a multi-car crash in Dallas in 2024. He will be allowed to serve his jail time at any point during the probation period. The NFL is likely to issue a multi-game suspension. Rice was driving a Lamborghini Urus at 119 mph before the crash, for which he faced charges of aggravated assault and collision involving serious bodily injury. Despite being able to play in the 2024 NFL season, Rice suffered an ACL tear in Week 4. He is expected to be ready for training camp next week.
