KaVontae Turpin, Cowboys All-Pro Return Man, Arrested on Marijuana and Weapon Charges
Dallas Cowboys All-Pro return man KaVontae Turpin was arrested on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and unlawful carrying of a weapon in Allen, Texas. The 28-year-old is out on bail with no attorney representing him. The team has not commented on the situation. Turpin, a former TCU standout, signed a three-year contract with the Cowboys and has a history of domestic violence. He joined the team in 2022 after playing in satellite football leagues. Turpin’s role as a receiver has expanded, and new coach Brian Schottenheimer plans to involve him more in the offense. Last season, Turpin had a career-best performance with 31 catches for 420 yards and four touchdowns.
