Okla. robbery lands Chiefs superfan 32-year sentence
Infamous Kansas City Chiefs superfan Xaviar Babudar was sentenced to 32 additional years in an Oklahoma prison for a string of bank robberies in multiple states. Babudar, known as ChiefsAholic, is already serving a federal sentence for similar crimes. His defense attorney claimed his actions were fueled by a gambling addiction and a troubled childhood. Babudar was caught after robbing a bank in Oklahoma and fleeing with $150,000. Despite his attorney’s plea for leniency, others felt he should face the maximum penalty for the trauma he caused. Babudar’s attorney stated that he is remorseful and hopes to eventually integrate back into society.
