Cleveland Browns General Manager Says Running Back Chubb Deal is becoming less likely
ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports that Cleveland Browns’ general manager, Andrew Berry, stated that a reunion with free agent running back Nick Chubb is becoming increasingly unlikely after the team acquired new running backs in the NFL draft. Chubb, who has spent seven years with the Browns, remains unsigned. Despite keeping in contact with Chubb before the draft, Berry has not been in strong communication since. Chubb struggled to regain his form after a severe knee injury in 2023, but Berry believes he can bounce back. Chubb is a four-time Pro Bowl selection with impressive career stats, but his return to the Browns seems less likely in the short term.
