Lionel Messi and Fafa Picault helped Inter Miami beat the New York Red Bulls 4-1, with Messi scoring a goal and an assist. Patrick Mahomes and Odell Beckham Jr. were in attendance at the game. Inter Miami rebounded from a loss to Dallas, with Picault scoring in the ninth minute and Marcelo Weigandt and Luis Suarez adding goals to give Miami a 3-0 lead. The Red Bulls scored through Mohammed Sofo, but Inter Miami sealed the victory with another goal from Weigandt. Messi also capped the scoring with a goal in the 67th minute.
