Diontae Johnson is now signing with Browns, his fourth team in a year

After stints with three other teams, Diontae Johnson signs with Browns, becoming his fourth team in a year

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns after being on three different teams in the past year. He started the season with the Carolina Panthers, then was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. However, he was released by the Ravens after a disciplinary issue and briefly played for the Houston Texans before being released again. Johnson had a successful year in 2021 with the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching 107 passes for over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. He will now join a Browns receiving group lacking depth. The Browns are still uncertain about their starting quarterback for the upcoming season, with Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett being the frontrunners for the job.
