Dolphins star left tackle Terron Armstead retires after 12 NFL seasons, ending Pro Bowl career at five appearances

Terron Armstead, one of the NFL’s top offensive tackles of the past decade, is retiring after 12 seasons, playing for the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. With five Pro Bowl selections and a second-team All-Pro nod in 2018, he had a successful career. Armstead signed a five-year, $75 million contract with the Dolphins in 2022 and had two more Pro Bowl selections. He finished his career with a top-four offensive grade in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus. The Dolphins may look to draft a replacement with their 13th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to fill Armstead’s void.
