Seahawks sign Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a one-year contract
The Seattle Seahawks are adding veteran receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on a one-year deal worth up to $5.5 million. The 30-year-old split last season between the Bills and Saints, with better stats in New Orleans. He will reunite with offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak in Seattle, who was also the Saints’ play-caller in 2024. Valdes-Scantling has played in 106 career games for four different teams, totaling 205 catches for 3,566 yards and 20 touchdowns. He has also performed well in the postseason, with 24 receptions for 406 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games.
