Chip Kelly Returns to NFL as Offensive Coordinator for Las Vegas Raiders Following Lengthy Hiatus
Chip Kelly is back in the NFL after being hired as the offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. Kelly, who was previously a head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, will be the highest-paid coordinator in the NFL at $6 million per year. He had success as a head coach in college at Oregon and UCLA before briefly becoming the offensive coordinator at Ohio State. Kelly’s return to the NFL will be interesting, as he has never worked as a coordinator at the NFL level. He will have full control of the Raiders’ offense as he returns to the west coast.
