Cowboys name Schottenheimer as new head coach
Brian Schottenheimer, son of legendary coach Marty, has been named head coach of the Dallas Cowboys following Mike McCarthy’s departure. Schottenheimer has over 25 years of NFL experience and spent the last three seasons with the Cowboys. He takes over as the Cowboys’ 10th head coach. In other news, Pete Carroll has been named head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, replacing Antonio Pierce. Carroll previously coached the Seattle Seahawks for 14 years, leading them to multiple NFC titles and a Super Bowl victory. He is the fifth coach the Raiders have had since moving to Las Vegas in 2020.
