Saints Quarterbacks Practice in Cold Conditions Before Trip to Lambeau Field
Katherine Terrell, an ESPN Staff Writer, covers the New Orleans Saints and rejoined ESPN in 2022 after leaving in 2019. She is a Baton Rouge native and has covered the NFL since 2013. The Saints prepared rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler for a cold game against the Green Bay Packers by practicing in a walk-in freezer. Rattler will start in place of the injured Derek Carr, while Alvin Kamara is also ruled out. Carr’s rehab progress was not enough to return to practice. Receiver Chris Olave, returning from injured reserve, practiced but is not ready to play. Interim coach Darren Rizzi sees positive progress in their recovery.
