Bills cut former Packers WR to make room for Amari Cooper

Packers’ former WR released by Bills to accommodate Amari Cooper

The Buffalo Bills traded for Amari Cooper, acquiring him from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for draft picks. As a result of the trade, the Bills released wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to make room on the roster. Valdes-Scantling had signed a one-year deal with the Bills in May but had not been a significant contributor during the season. He is now a free agent and potential landing spots for him could include his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, or Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets. Valdes-Scantling is best known for his time with the Green Bay Packers as one of Rodgers’ top targets.
