Cowboys lose another starter as key WR will miss Week 5 game

Key Wide Receiver for Cowboys to Miss Week 5 Game, Adding to Team’s Starter Losses

Dallas Cowboys have a series of injury setbacks. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is on the injured reserve list, Micah Parsons will likely miss the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been ruled out due to a knee infection. Cooks, alongside CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert, makes up the Cowboys’ starting wide receivers. With Cooks out, backup receivers KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Brooks will have to step up. Rookie WR Ryan Flournoy could also see some action. Additionally, starting rookie cornerback Caelen Carson is set to return against the Steelers. Cooks is expected to be out for at least one to three weeks.
