Tim Boyle takes over for injured Skyler Thompson in Dolphins vs. Seahawks game
Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson left Week 3’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with an apparent chest injury in the third quarter. Thompson started the game due to Tua Tagovailoa’s absence from a concussion. He was knocked out of the game after taking multiple hard hits, and third-string quarterback Tim Boyle took over. Despite initial concerns, Thompson did not suffer a serious chest injury. He threw for 107 yards and completed 13-of-19 passes before leaving the game. The Dolphins trailed the Seahawks 17-3 at the time. Thompson was able to walk to the locker room but did not return to the game.
