NFL places restrictions on Tom Brady before broadcasting role with Fox

Tom Brady faces restrictions from NFL before joining Fox broadcasting role

Tom Brady’s potential ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders has led to restrictions on his access to NFL teams as a Fox Sports broadcaster. He is unable to attend certain meetings or access team facilities, players, or coaches. However, he is allowed to broadcast Raiders games and must follow league rules regarding criticism of officials and other clubs. Brady signed a 10-year deal with Fox in 2022 and is working with announcer Kevin Burkhardt. The NFL has been monitoring his bid to become a minority owner of the Raiders since May 2023, with concerns about the discount he may be receiving from majority owner Mark Davis. Brady also owns a piece of the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team, also owned by Davis.
