Top WR for Chiefs Suffers Injury Setback
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown of the Kansas City Chiefs will miss four to six weeks of the regular season due to a sternoclavicular injury suffered in a preseason game. The injury occurred on his only catch in the first play of the game. This means he may miss the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens and potentially games against the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons. The Chiefs have rookie Xavier Worthy and other receivers to step up in Brown’s absence. Brown had signed a one-year, $7 million contract with the Chiefs after a productive season with the Arizona Cardinals.
