Chiefs’ Hollywood Brown hospitalized with shoulder injury similar to Tyreek Hill’s in 2019
During the preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a personnel loss when new wide receiver Hollywood Brown injured his shoulder. Brown, a free agent addition known for his deep threat abilities, caught an 11-yard pass before getting hurt. He was later diagnosed with a sternoclavicular joint dislocation, a similar injury to former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill. Brown’s status for the regular season opener on Sept. 5 is now uncertain. The 27-year-old has shown potential in the past, including a 1,000-yard season in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2022, Brown was traded to the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Chiefs.
