Jaguars waive veteran contributor on D-line as part of roster shuffle

Jaguars release experienced defensive lineman as part of roster changes

The Jaguars signed safety Adrian Amos and defensive tackle Jonathan Marshall while waiving defensive tackle Adam Gotsis and injured cornerback Gregory Junior. Gotsis, a veteran defensive lineman, spent four seasons in Jacksonville with a decline in playing time and production. The team decided to give Marshall a chance as a developmental player in a crowded depth chart. Junior, a sixth-round pick in 2022, will revert to injured reserve if he clears waivers. The Jaguars made these moves to shake up the bottom of their squad and make adjustments to their roster for the upcoming season.
