Ravens place OLB Malik Hamm on injured reserve; sign another local product

Ravens put outside linebacker Malik Hamm on injured reserve and sign another local player

Malik Hamm, a promising young outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the 2024 NFL season due to a knee injury. Hamm, a Baltimore native, impressed coaches during the offseason program and was expected to have a role in the Ravens’ defense. To replace him, the Ravens signed Quincy Roche, a local product who previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants in the NFL. Roche will join a group of edge defenders competing for playing time, including Odafe Oweh, Kyle Van Noy, and David Ojabo. The Ravens also have rookie Adisa Isaac and undrafted rookie Joe Evans battling for spots on the roster.
