Cowboys’ Dak Prescott won’t be charged by Dallas police for alleged 2017 sexual assault; judge dismisses case

Dallas police will not charge Cowboys’ Dak Prescott for alleged 2017 sexual assault; case dismissed by judge

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been cleared of all civil claims in connection to sexual assault allegations made against him in 2017. The accuser was seeking $100 million in exchange for not going to the police. A judge dismissed the claims in June, and a hearing is scheduled for September to determine if legal action against the accuser is needed. Prescott’s attorney stated that the accusations were part of an extortion plot. The accuser’s lawsuit and Prescott’s extortion lawsuit are ongoing in civil court. Prescott, who is entering the final year of his contract, stated that the legal suits will not affect his contract negotiations.
