DeMeco Ryans Praises John Metchie’s Progress in Texans’ Offseason Program
Texans wide receiver John Metchie has impressed his coach DeMeco Ryans this offseason with his improvements and explosiveness on the field. Despite missing his entire rookie season due to cancer, Metchie returned in 2023 and played in 16 games. Ryans also highlighted two other backup wide receivers, Xavier Hutchinson and Jared Wayne.
