Marcus Maye agrees to terms with Dolphins

Dolphins and Marcus Maye come to terms on contract deal

Free agent safety Marcus Maye is signing with the Dolphins. Maye had been a free agent since being cut by the Saints in March. He signed a three-year, $22.5 million contract with New Orleans in 2022 but missed as many games as he played due to suspension. Maye, 31, spent his first five seasons with the Jets after being drafted in 2017. In his career, he has recorded 409 tackles, eight interceptions, 28 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, and 4.5 sacks. The Dolphins have upgraded their secondary by adding Maye to provide depth alongside cornerback Kendall Fuller and safety Jordan Poyer.
