Former first-round pick Adoree’ Jackson is a free agent after playing out his contract with the Giants. The team is not expected to re-sign him, as they have faith in rookie Deonte Banks to step up as their top cornerback. Banks had a solid rookie season, despite a low ranking by Pro Football Focus. The Giants believe he will develop into a key player in 2024. There are also rumors that head coach Brian Daboll will take over play-calling duties for the offense and that defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson missed out on a promotion to become defensive coordinator.
