Steve McMichael will miss Hall of Fame induction in Canton as he fights ALS
Steve McMichael, battling ALS, will not be able to travel to Canton, Ohio for his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction in August. The Hall of Fame is making plans to honor him at his home. Family friend Jarrett Payton will appear in Canton as his presenter. McMichael played as a defensive tackle in the NFL for 15 seasons, primarily with the Bears. He was a starter on the 1985 Bears’ defense and finished his career with the Packers in 1994. The family expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of fans during this difficult time.
