Ravens add Qadir Ismail, son of Super Bowl 35 champion Qadry Ismail, to roster
The Baltimore Ravens signed Samford Bulldogs wide receiver Qadir Ismail to their 90-man roster after a successful minicamp invite. Ismail, who is 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds, offers size that no other receiver on the team possesses. General Manager Eric DeCosta mentioned the team’s interest in adding a bigger receiver, which led to the selection of Devontez Walker in the draft. Ismail’s stats as a wide receiver are limited due to his background as a quarterback, but he comes from a football family as the son of former Ravens wide receiver Qadry Ismail, who won a Super Bowl with the team in 2000.
