Legendary Oakland Raiders Center Jim Otto Passes Away at Age 86

Jim Otto, a Hall of Famer and former center for the Raiders, passed away at the age of 86. Otto, known for wearing the No. 00 jersey, spent his entire 15-year career with the Raiders, playing in a remarkable 210 straight games. He was one of just three players to appear in every single regular season AFL game during his career. Otto won the AFL title in 1967 and played in six title games with the team. After retiring, he worked in the Raiders’ front office, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Otto battled numerous health issues, including undergoing over 70 surgeries and having his right leg amputated in 2007.
