He was a key player for the Raiders during the 1960s and 1970s, known for his leadership, tenacity, and durability. Otto played in a record-breaking 210 consecutive games and earned numerous accolades, including 12 AFL All-Star/Pro Bowl selections and 10 All-Pro nods. He helped lead the Raiders to their first Super Bowl appearance and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980. Otto’s legacy lives on as part of the most decorated offense in pro football history and he remained connected to the Raiders even after retiring.
