Will Caleb Williams become Bears’ first 4,000-yard passer in 2024?

Can Caleb Williams become the first Bears quarterback to pass for 4,000 yards in 2024?

The Chicago Bears have never had a quarterback throw for 4,000 yards in a single season, but Craig Carton believes that new arrival Caleb Williams could change that. Williams, the Bears’ top draft pick, has the potential to reach that milestone with the weapons the team has surrounded him with, including Keenan Allen and D’Andre Swift. Former NFL receiver Plaxico Burress believes a successful rookie season for Williams would include 3,200-3,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. Williams was a standout player in college, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2022. He will make his NFL debut for the Bears against the Tennessee Titans in September.
