PFF lists Ravens as one the NFL’s most improved secondaries post-draft

Post-draft, PFF names Ravens as having one of NFL’s most improved secondaries

Many NFL teams upgraded their defensive backfield in the 2024 draft, with the Baltimore Ravens being one of five teams highlighted for their improvements. The Ravens used three of their nine draft selections on defensive backs, addressing a need at cornerback. Pro Football Focus noted that while the Ravens had a strong coverage unit last season, they had questions at cornerback. The Ravens drafted Nate Wiggins and T.J. Tampa, who are expected to provide an immediate impact and add depth to the secondary. Sanoussi Kane was also added as a developmental safety in the seventh round. Overall, the Ravens now have a strengthened and versatile defensive backfield.
