Chargers Add Experienced Edge-Rusher to Roster
Bud Dupree has signed a two-year, $6-10M deal with the Los Angeles Chargers after visiting the team recently. The veteran edge-rusher had interest from other teams such as the Steelers and Falcons but ultimately chose to join the Chargers. Dupree will provide a veteran presence alongside Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack on the edge. This move comes after restructuring deals for Bosa and Mack to remain with the team. Last season, Los Angeles ranked sixth in sacks, showing a strong defense. Dupree had a productive season with the Falcons in 2023 after underwhelming with the Titans, leading to his release.
