Broncos release former Super Bowl champion WR

Broncos part ways with former Super Bowl champion wide receiver

The Denver Broncos cut wide receiver Phillip Dorsett and defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence to make room for their 13-man undrafted free agent haul, reaching the 90-man offseason limit. Dorsett, a nine-year veteran, joined the team last August and caught one pass in two games. He has played for seven NFL teams and had his best seasons with the Colts and Patriots. Lawrence, 25, has been with five teams since 2023, after starting 13 games with the Cardinals from 2020-2022. The Broncos signed him to a reserve/futures contract in January after stints with the Dolphins, Panthers, and Texans.
